Domino's Gets A Little Bolder

When was the last time you had Domino's pizza? Yep, it's been awhile for us too. But we're starting to wonder if they just might be worth another look. The company is trying to shake its reputation for "cardboard crust", own up to negative feedback and - believe it or not - actually make good pizza and test new ideas. And they're going about it in a pretty bold way. Check out these two commercials:

It's a bold move, for sure. Most companies try to hide or spin negative criticism, but Domino's actually aired customer grievances and used them as the basis to improve their pizza (and hopefully get it right the first time with their chicken). It's only a first step, but we're pretty impressed by Domino's openness. What do you think? Is Domino's on the mark with this new campaign, or is it just a smart marketing spin?

It's a scientific fact that brilliance expands when shared, so please share your brilliant ideas with us in the comments!

  1. I think this ad campaign is one of the best that I've seen in a long time. It also totally worked on me, and translated into a purchase. Late night Saturday night, I was hungry and Domino's was the clear choice. I actually noticed an improvement in the product, too. Nice work Domino's!
